Nutter Butter Truffles

Peanut butter cookies blended into a creamy truffle center, coated in chocolate — these have been popping up everywhere lately, and they're honestly just as addictive as the Oreo version, if not more, for anyone who loves peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 300g) Nutter Butter or peanut butter sandwich cookies
  • 115g cream cheese, room temperature
  • 400g chocolate (milk or dark), melted
  • Crushed peanuts or extra cookie crumbs, for decoration

Directions

  1. Pulse the cookies in a food processor into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix the crumbs with cream cheese until fully combined into a thick, moldable dough.
  3. Roll into small balls and place on a lined tray. Freeze 20-30 minutes until firm.
  4. Dip each ball into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then return to the tray.
  5. Sprinkle with crushed peanuts or reserved cookie crumbs before the chocolate sets.
  6. Refrigerate until fully set, about 30 minutes.

Tip: if you want a stronger peanut butter flavor, mix a tablespoon of peanut butter into the cream cheese-cookie mixture.

Hugs, Alla xox
