Chocolate-Dipped Potato Chips
The sweet-and-salty trend has been everywhere lately, and this might be the simplest, most addictive version of it — crispy potato chips dipped in chocolate. It sounds unusual until you try one, and then it makes complete sense.

Ingredients
- 1 bag ridged potato chips
- 300g chocolate (dark, milk, or white), melted
- Flaky sea salt, for finishing
- Optional: crushed nuts, sprinkles, or a drizzle of contrasting chocolate
Directions
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate gently in the microwave in 30-second bursts, or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each potato chip halfway into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- Place on the lined tray and immediately sprinkle with a pinch of flaky sea salt while the chocolate is still wet.
- If using, drizzle a contrasting chocolate over the top for extra flair.
- Let set at room temperature, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to speed things up.
- Store in an airtight container — they stay crisp for a couple of days.
Tip: ridged chips hold up best and give the chocolate more surface to grip onto — thin flat chips can get soggy faster.
