Ferrero Rocher Truffles
Homemade Ferrero Rocher truffles have been trending as the ultimate "tastes just like the real thing" copycat — crunchy hazelnut center, chocolate-hazelnut spread, and a toasted hazelnut coating. Genuinely close to the original, and better fresh.

Ingredients
- 24 whole roasted hazelnuts
- 200g chocolate-hazelnut spread
- 60g crushed wafer cookies or crepes
- 300g milk chocolate, melted
- 100g finely chopped roasted hazelnuts, for coating
Directions
- Mix the chocolate-hazelnut spread with the crushed wafers until combined into a moldable paste.
- Take a small portion of the mixture, flatten slightly, and wrap it around a whole hazelnut, rolling into a ball. Repeat with all the hazelnuts.
- Freeze the balls for 20-30 minutes until firm.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- Immediately roll in the chopped hazelnuts while the chocolate is still wet, coating fully.
- Place on a lined tray and refrigerate until fully set, about 20 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Tip: working with cold, firm centers makes the dipping process much easier — don't skip the freezing step.
